THE Isle of Wight Photographic Society hosted its annual Hasselblad Competition for members of Island camera clubs.

There were 59 entries with individuals from six clubs submitting entries.

Roger Smith, a Southern Photographic Federation judge, officiated on the evening.

It was keenly contested with the award going to Douglas Cox, from Sandown and Shanklin, with The Wreck of SS Carbon, scoring the maximum 20.

Another ten images were judged to have come very close, scoring 19 points —
