From Mark Burrows, Ventnor:

Correct me if I am wrong but I’ve noticed riders on their mobility scooters, who occasionally knock pedestrians over on the pavements, have taken to whizzing around on the roads.

Surely one needs a licence to ride a motorised vehicle on the highway? They are becoming a health and safety issue.

While travelling on the bus recently, we crawled behind an individual idling up Ocean View Road.

The IW Council has spent a fortune of our council tax laying drop kerbs parallel to the pavements.

So please use them mobility scooterists and have more consideration.
