Firefighters called out to Newport bin fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night (Sunday) to a fire in a bin in Newport.
A crew from Newport Fire Station were called out just after 8pm to the fire in a bin in a car park on Sea Street.
The incident was dealt with in minutes as the fire was extinguished using a bucket of water, a fire and rescue service spokesperson said.
