Dinosaurs are preparing to take over a Sandown park — and the first arrived by trailer this morning.
The Needles Landmark Attraction tweeted the arrival of a life-sized triceratops — the first of five dinosaurs which will form the centrepiece of its new adventure golf course at Sandham Gardens, located close to the Dinosaur Isle museum.
As previously reported, the golf course, first built in 1920, is in line for a dramatic makeover complete with a volcano, dinosaurs and waterfall.
The work is part of a programme of development on the site, which also includes a three-storey adventure trail.
