AN Irish dancer in the making took to the floor for the first time at the St Patrick's night party at The Wheatsheaf, Yarmouth.

Little Josie, the three-and-a-half year old granddaughter of Wheatsheaf publicans, Shaun and Kathryn Rayner, got up to join the Ceri Irish Dancers during their performance.

Kathryn said: "It was lovely to see her up there trying to dance, she's one for the future.

"We had a brilliant night, and as well as the Ceri Irish Dancers there was music from the Eremue Folk Band who were amazing considering they have only been together since January.

"We had 50 eating from our special Irish menu in one part of the pub and the other side was packed. There was plenty of laughter and dancing and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.

"Some of our locals came dressed up in green as well, so it made for a great evening."
