Fire Service called to chimney fire in Ventnor.
THREE fire crews, a police officer and a command unit all attended a property in Wootton this morning.
Crews from Newport, Ryde and Cowes were called to St Edmund's Walk at 10.48am.
However, they stood down just 12 minutes later, after realising it was a false alarm.
A fire service spokesperson said this was not the first time they had attended the property in recent weeks.
