THE STRUGGLE Isle of Wight ice-skaters face — training without a rink — will feature on BBC South's Inside Out this evening (Wednesday).
The Wight Crystals, the Wight Jewels, the Wight Sequins and the Wight Sparkles all placed in the top five of their categories at the British Synchronised Skating Championships, despite their lack of regular training on ice.
On BBC South Today this morning, the girls were shown practicing in their trainers outside the closed Ryde Arena and travelling to mainland in the early hours of the morning for their weekly practice.
Tune into BBC One at 7.30pm this evening to see the skaters in action.
