THE spirit of the orient came to Robin Hill this weekend.
The award-winning electric woods event launched last night and will be open until 23 February.
Described as a 'dazzling fusion of sound, colour and illuminations and oriental flavours' the event celebrates Chinese Near Year.
The woodlands have impressive new light exhibits, a 12-metre long dragon procession, new interactive woodland light shows and traditional lion dances to mark the year of the Earth Pig.
