Long delays on Fairlee Road
THERE are long delays coming into Newport along Fairlee Road and on the dual carriageway this morning (Thursday).
It is thought this is due to temporary traffic lights at St Mary's Hospital, which in turn is causing delays at the Fairlee Road junction with the dual carriageway.
Southern Vectis has reported delays on its route 1 service of 45 minutes.
A witness described traffic at a standstill on the dual carriageway.
