CUSTOMERS on O2 could experience difficulties using their network for the next four days.

The mobile network company is carrying out maintenance work which may affect users, especially in Newport, until Friday, February 8.

This will also affect customers of Giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile, LycaMobile and TalkTalk Mobile, which use the O2 network.

A spokesperson from O2 said: "We're carrying out some upgrade work to help improve our network. While we do this, you might have some trouble with your calls, texts and data.

"We're working as fast as we can."
