FOUR crews have been called to a property fire in Porchfield this evening.
Ryde Fire Station said they were called at 8.36pm to a property fire, confirmed as being 'well alight'.
Crews have been called to Corf Road, the main road between Newtown and Porchfield.
A fire service spokesperson said four pumps and a water carrier have been sent to the scene.

Fire crews remain at the scene.
A fire service spokesperson said they believe the building to be a domestic dwelling.
Island Roads has confirmed Porchfield Road is closed from Colemans Lane to Whiteoak Lane, Shalfleet.

Police and ambulance crews are also on the scene.
An ambulance spokesperson said: "We believe there to be no injuries at this stage, but an ambulance crew remains on site as the fire is still being dealt with."

The fire has been extinguished by crews from Ryde, Newport and Freshwater, in addition to other support vehicles.
A fire service spokesperson said the site will be guarded overnight and a fire investigation crew will visit the property in the morning.
The building has been confirmed to be a single storey, timber-framed dwelling.
No one has been injured.
