EVERY primary age child at The Bay CE School in Sandown was given a mug to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War.
The mug was designed by 11-year-old pupil Tommy Young, who won a competition open to all pupils to come up with a suitable creation.
The designs were all deliberated over by a panel of judges, consisting of headteacher Duncan Mills, Cllr Richard Priest and Rev Ian Lovell, and eventually they picked the winner.
