CARS have been broken into, damaged and left with slashed tyres overnight in East Cowes

Two cars, a Renault Clio and Kia Picanto, had their tyres slashed in Osborne Road, and a number of vehicles were damaged and broken into in Albany Road and Cambridge Road.

A spokesperson from the Isle of Wight Police said: "Nothing was reported stolen from the vehicles in Albany Road and Cambridge Road, however a key ring torch was stolen from a Kia Sorento in Osborne Road.

"Officers conducted a search of the area but did not locate the people responsible."
