SALLY Potter has been causing quite a stir with her rubbish art.

The avid beach cleaner and environmental artist, from Seaview, was interviewed on BBC Radio Solent last week about her work — pictures created from rubbish found on the beach.

"I am passionate about what all this litter on our beaches is doing to our wildlife and marine life," said Sally.

"I decided to create something beautiful out of rubbish I found, and my family have nicknamed me the rubbish artist."

Sally sells her work online at and donates the profits to the Blue Seas Protection Charity, in Sandown, and The Final Straw Solent, in Emsworth.
