CAMILLA, Duchess of Cornwall, was on the Isle of Wight today (Tuesday).

The Duchess visited Osborne House, where she met Dame Judi Dench for a tour of the house, including the Durbar Room, which featured in the film Victoria and Abdul, starring Dame Judi.

Also at Osborne, the Duchess viewed the preparations for the Osborne Horse Trials, which take place tomorrow and Thursday.

They enjoyed ice creams from Plaza Ices.

Gary Hall, from Plaza Ices, said: "We were very honoured to serve both HRH and Dame Judi Dench. I think the ice creams were appreciated."

At Trinity Landing, she officially named the new Red Jet 7 during a ceremony in front of hundreds of supporters.

Watch the naming below:

Kevin George, Red Funnel’s Chairman said: "We are extremely proud to present our new Red Jet.

"Built to serve the Isle of Wight, built by the skilled workforce of the Isle of Wight and built in East Cowes.

"We would very much like to thank Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall, for naming Red Jet 7.

"It is only fitting that the naming ceremony is in Cowes where the boat will be a very frequent visitor and in sight of where she was built in the ‘Union Jack’ building."
