The Monkey Haven on the Isle of Wight has been named one of the top three small visitor attractions in England.
The Staplers haven, which has won a string of awards since opening six years ago, has been shortlisted in the top three by VisitEngland.
And the news could get even better, when VisitEngland announces who the overall winner at a ceremony on April 24.
Haven founder Don Walser said: "I’m not often lost for words, but when I found out that we were in the top three, I was gobsmacked. Six years ago when we set up Monkey Haven, people said we were crazy. Now they’re saying that we’re among the best in the country.
"This comes just weeks after we struck gold in the Beautiful South Awards and then won a VisitEngland Gold accolade. We’re also the number one attraction on TripAdvisor for the Isle of Wight. This is all thanks to our amazing staff, volunteers and supporters who share our drive to care for animals in crisis."
