BEMBRIDGE RNLI was called to help tow a yacht to safety in bad weather in the early hours of the morning (Sunday).
The lifeboat was called to take over towing the 39ft racing yacht Silver Shamrock from Selsey RNLI at around midnight.
It picked up the boat, which had two people on board, at around 1am, in Force 6 winds.
The boat, which had suffered a steering failure, was towed to Cowes, where it had set off from earlier in the day.
