FOLLOWING on from their success at the Isle of Wight Festival, Platform One will be hosting a stage at Jack Up The 80s.
With a focus on Island bands, the college will provide a range of music — from acoustic acts, tribute acts and original bands — at the retro festival, from August 11-13 at Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde.
Other acts performing over the weekend include Jason Donovan, Alexander O’Neal, Nik Kershaw and Bucks Fizz.
Platform One director, David Pontin, said: “We are delighted to be asked to programme a bespoke Platform One Stage at Jack Up the 80s.
“We are always looking at new opportunities for young musicians, artists and bands and this is yet another significant chance for young people to showcase their talent — it is a privilege to be involved.”
Tickets can be purchased from jackupthe80s.co.uk.
