A CORDON has been placed around a house in Ryde that suffered damage after a vehicle crashed into it.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision at the John Street address and believe it to have taken place on July 26.
A police spokeswoman said: "We received a report on August 4 regarding a vehicle that had collided with an outside wall of an address in John Street sometime between July 17 and 26.
"We were not called at the time of the incident.
"We are now investigating the circumstances of the collision and understand that it happened on July 26.
"Investigations are ongoing."
