From Sandra Snell, Lake:

This is a copy of a letter I sent to our MP Bob Seely and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

I am still awaiting replies.

"Please can you explain to me why parents cannot watch children's sports days this year, Yet thousands of people can attend and watch football matches and similar, and hundred of people can attend G7 meetings.

And we noted all the dignitaries mingling without masks, when we, the masses, are limited to what we can and can't do, while wearing masks.

It seems to me that this is double standards.

I have been very compliant with government wishes but it's a complete mockery when there appear to be these double standards.

I have friends and family members who are missing out on a child's first sports' day event, and children who would love their parents to see them at their sports day.

This is not good enough. Please make my concerns known."
