And so the game begins, with the government beginning to blame SAGE scientists.

Let’s be very clear where blame lies.

This government very clearly knew the risks inherent in a pandemic from Exercise Cygnus held way back in 2016.

After which it clearly chose not to adequately prepare for such a threat, reducing levels of PPE and allowing existing stocks to fall out of date, no doubt to save money.

When Covid-19 hit, far from throwing a protective arm around care homes, it did the complete opposite, instructing NHS hospitals to discharge infected patients into them, seeding the infection in to care homes resulting in the deaths of thousands of our elderly, in order to protect our NHS.

It has failed in its most basic of governmental duty, that of protecting its people.

It seized the opportunity of the pandemic to squander obscene amounts of taxpayers' money on consultants and companies in the private sector, many of whom had no experience and, unsurprisingly, have spectacularly failed to deliver.

Our present-day politicians are a complete abomination and disgrace to the great people of this country, pure and simple.

Where does the blame lie? Well, who elected these Etonian halfwits? The forelock-tugging electorate who slavish admire and follow this busted flush of a government.
