As we see Covid-19 infection rates rise across the U.K. I worry many people are not taking the threat seriously enough.

The public and businesses seem to be far more blase.

I don’t see supermarkets reimposing their one-way systems, cleaning regimes and limited customer numbers, indeed the message seems to be carry on as normal, just wear a mask.

Here on the Island we have been very fortunate not to have been hit hard by Covid, but this has been down to our community acting responsibly.

That said, this time around, many are understandably Covid weary and perhaps a little complacent.

With this mentality I seriously worry we are going to see a second wave hit us much harder than the first.
