PORTLAND Boxing Club hold the Western Counties Southern Area Golden Belt Championships at North Portland Working Men's Club tomorrow (7.30pm).
The event is for juniors who have had under ten bouts and there will be six championship fights as well as ten club contests.
Josh Ellis, Callum Laming, Paul Elborne, Tom Gardiner and George Preston will all represent the home club along with Jordan Darby, who will be taking part in his first bout at the age of 14.
Portland head coach Vince Ealson said: "Boys from Portland, Weymouth, Dorchester, Sturminster Newton and Bournemouth will be competing as well as others from as far away as Torbay, Barnstaple and Bodmin.
"Tickets are £10 each and we are hoping to have a big crowd.
"Sales have been a bit slow compared to the show we held in December when we sold out the week before.
"We had 350 at that one and it would be nice to have the same amount again."
