STATUTORY NOTICE Proposal to establish a now Voluntary Aided Primary School
Notice Is given that the Trustees and Governors of The Noam Primary School, 8-10 Forty Avenue, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 8JW Intend to establish a new Voluntary Aided School and Nursery under section 11 (1 A) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 as amended, and the School Organisation (Establishment and Discontinuance of Schools) Regulations 2013. The school is currently independent.
It is intended that the proposal will be implemented by 1 January 2019. Upon completion of a new school building on the site, which is currently being constructed, it is proposed that the school and nursery will relocate to East Road, Burnt Oak HA8 OAJ. The school and nursery will be conducted in accordance with the ethics and principles of the Jewish religion and culture. The proposed school and nursery will have a Jewish religious character and it is confirmed that the proposer intends to ask the Secretary of State to designate the school and nursery as a school and nursery with such a religious character. The new school and nursery will cater for pupils between the ages of 3 and 11 and it will provide places for 240 boys and girls. In admissions, preference will be given to Orthodox Jewish Children.
