SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT OF SEDGEMOOR PARISHES OF NORTH PETHERTON AND BRIDGWATER Temporary Closure of parts of Footpaths BW 23/37 and BW 38/27 TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along part of Footpath BW 23/37 along the southern bank of the River Parrett from a point approximately 70 metres west of the railway bridge for 60 metres in a westerly direction and footpath BW 38/27 along the northern bank of the River Parrett from a point approximately 70 metres west of the railway bridge for 60 metres in a westerly direction as there will be a danger to the public whilst a new bridge is being constructed.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES Whilst the closures are in place alternative routes will be available. The Order will come into effect on 4 April 2018 and will remain in force for six months. For information about the closure please contact Niamh-Anne McNally, Whitemountain on 02892 501000.
