Temporary Traffic Management Order, East Street, Bridport
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Management Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The order will come into effect on 7 February 2017 until 22 March 2017 a period of 6 weeks. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. This order will enable Western Power Distribution to store spoil and materials along with works vehicles during cable overlay works. The effect of the order is as follows;
[1] To impose a parking suspension from outside 28 – 32 East Street between 7 February 2017 and 28 February 2017
[2] To impose a parking suspension from outside 10 – 14 East Street between 29 February 2017 and 22 March 2017
