The Isle of Wight Council's Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (St Johns Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Wednesday 10 August 2022 until 1630 hours on Friday 12 August 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Johns Road, between its junctions with Carter Street and Grove Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during footpath repairs.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 05 August 2022 and Friday 23 August 2022 the following road will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately three weeks within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of footway resurfacing works to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Saturday 06 August 2022, between 1900 and 2330 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner,
A) No person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along, 1) North Road between its junctions with Avenue Road and Queens Road; 2) Atherley Road for its entire length; 3) Regent Street for its entire length; 4) High Street for its entire length; 5) Church Road between its junctions with High Street and Priory Road; 6) Queens Road for its entire length; 7) Chine Avenue for its entire length; 8) Priory Road between its junctions with Church Road and Popham Road; 9) Popham Road for its entire length.
