Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Bouldnor Mead, Shalfleet, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours on Friday 06 May 2022 until 1830 hours on Friday 13 May 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Bouldnor Mead for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Florence Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022

The Isle of Wight Council (The Fairway, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 2230 hours from Tuesday 03 May 2022 until 0600 hours on Wednesday 13 May 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along The Fairway, along the eastern and western junctions from its junction with Lake Hill to approximately 40 metres north thereof. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Tuesday 03 May until 1700 hours on Wednesday 04 May 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Langbridge between its junctions with Knighton Lane and The Shute. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during installation of new bridge.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 29 April 2022 and Friday 29 July 2022 the following roads will be closed for days, nights, or both day and night for a period of approximately one to 15 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction and resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 6 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, a temporary one-way restriction be introduced on Pan Lane, in a northerly direction from Godric road to a point 120m south of the junction with Home Meade. The alternate route travelling south is Furrlongs, St Georges Way, Godric Road and Pan Lane. The restriction is being introduced on the grounds of road safety to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Isle of Wight Council (Pan Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 20mph Speed Restriction) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 6 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, a temporary 20mph speed limit restriction be introduced on Pan Lane from the existing 20mph limit (a point 120m south of the junction with Home Meade) to the junction with Godric Road. The restriction is being introduced on the grounds of road safety to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Isle of Wight Council (Pan Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 6' 6" Width Restriction) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 6 May 2022 for a period of 18 months, a temporary 6' 6" (2.0m) width restriction be introduced on Pan Lane from the junction with Godric Road to a point 120m south of the junction with Home Meade. c) Pier Access Road between its junctions with Esplanade and Ryde Pier;

d) Quay Road between its junctions with Esplanade and 30 metres north thereof;

e) Nelson Place between its junctions with Esplanade and Castle Street;

f) George Street between its junctions with Esplanade and Castle Street;

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Monday 25 April 2022 for a period of 18 months, or when the works has been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along:
a) St Thomas' Street between its junctions with Esplanade and Lower Car Park entrance, in a westbound direction;

b) Esplanade (northern carriageway), between St Thomas Street and Dover Street, in a westerly direction;

c) Esplanade (southern carriageway), between St Thomas Street and Dover Street, in an easterly direction;

d) Melville Street between Dover Street and George Street, in a westerly direction.

These will be phased works and the restrictions may occur on more than one occasion and for varying durations. The exact dates will be signposted locally. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during the Ryde Transport Interchange works.
