The Isle of Wight Council (Thorncross Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours, for one day from Wednesday 26 January 2022 until Friday 28 January 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Thorncross Lane for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during ditching works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0930 hours until 1530 hours, on Thursday 27 January 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along East Hill Road between its junctions with Abbey Lane and Ampthill Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during arboriculture works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 21 January 2022 and Friday 04 March 2022 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately six weeks, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:-
The Isle of Wight Council (Appley Steps, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0000 hours from Friday 21 January 2022 for a maximum of six months, no person shall proceed along Appley Steps between its junctions with Rylstone Gardens and Shanklin beach. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety due to a cliff fall.
