Disposal of open space land under Section 123 Local Government Act 1972
Isle of Wight Council hereby gives notice of its intention to dispose by way of lease the following site:
1. Land of approximately 36,641 m2 known as Victoria Grove Recreation Ground and Victoria Recreation Ground, Victoria Grove, East Cowes, Isle of Wight.
The lease will be granted to East Cowes Town Council for a term of 30 years and the permitted use will be for recreational events and other recreational use and enjoyment by members of the public, including the use of the existing Skate Park, MUGA and outdoor fitness facility
Anyone who wishes to object to the disposal should give their objections in writing to Lee Matthews, Recreation and Public Spaces Manager, Recreation Leisure and Public Spaces, County Hall, High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1UD. By no later than Friday 4th February 2022.
