District of Sedgemoor Parish of Westonzoyland Temporary Closure of Hoopers Lane
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Hoopers Lane - from the junction with River Road, north westwards for its entire length. A total distance of 1500 metres. This Order will enable Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of BT Openreach to carry out works on overhead structure. The Order becomes effective on 28th December 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 6th January 2022 and last until 6th January 2022 between the hours of (09:30-15:30) for a total of 6 hours. Please visit
