The Isle of Wight Council's Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Church Path, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 29 December 2021 until Friday 31 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall proceed along Church Path between its junctions with Oak Tree Way and Sylvan Avenue. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during step repairs.

The Isle of Wight Council (School Lane, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 5 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 29 December 2021 until Friday 31 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along School Lane between its junctions with Access Road 36 and High Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during groundworks.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 29 December 2021 until Friday 31 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Chale Lane between its junctions with Newman Lane and Gladices Lane. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during verge repairs. The

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 29 December 2021 until Friday 31 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Hill Place Lane between its junctions with Yarmouth Footpath 8 and Yarmouth Road, Cranmore. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during a pole installation.

The Isle of Wight Council (Chilton Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 29 December 2021 until Friday 31 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Chilton Lane approximately 139 metres south-west with its junction with Main Road and approximately 703 metres north-east from its junction with Hoxall Lane. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during a pole installation.

The Isle of Wight Council (Pound Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 29 December 2021 until Friday 31 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pound Lane between a point 85 metres south and 128 metres north from its junction with Pound Cottage Access Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during a pole installation.

The Isle of Wight Council (Elm Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0930 hours until 1530 hours on Monday 20 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Elm Lane between its junctions with Quarry Lane and Elm Farm Access Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Redhill Lane, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours from Monday 20 December 2021 until 2359 hours on Wednesday 22 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Redhill Lane between its junctions with Shanklin Road and Godshill Footpath 43. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during land drainage investigation works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Pell Lane, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for one day from Wednesday 22 December 2021 until Friday 24 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pell Lane between its junctions with Mountbatten Drive and Grange Avenue. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during arboricultural works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Merstone Lane, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours for two days from Monday 20 December 2021 until Wednesday 22 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Merstone Lane for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage repairs.

The Isle of Wight Council (Town Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1930 hours until 2300 hours, for one day from Tuesday 21 December 2021 until Thursday 23 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Town Lane for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

The Isle of Wight Council (Dodpits Lane, Shalfleet, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours, for one day from Tuesday 21 December 2021 until Thursday 23 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Dodpits Lane between its junctions with Freshwater Road and Little Chessell Access Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage repairs.

Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 14 (1) (a) and (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Esplanade, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours from Friday 17 December 2021 until 2359 hours on Saturday 17 June 2023, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Esplanade, between a point 380 metres east and north east of its junctions with Cambridge Road to the end of the highway. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required to prevent the likelihood of any danger arising due to a landslide blocking the highway.
