THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL (RESIDENTS' PARKING PLACES) ORDER NO 1 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in exercise of their powers under section 1, 2, 4, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended ('the Act' of 1984), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with The Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to:
1. To revoke the provisions of 'The Isle of Wight Council (Residents' Parking Places) Consolidation Order No 1 2019'.
Disabled Badge Holders' in the following lengths of road:
Caesars Road, on the north-west side, from a point 69.5 metres north-east to a point 132 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Caesars Road, on the north-west side, from a point 14 metres north-east to a point 60 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Caesars Road, on the north-west side, from a point 28 metres south-west to a point 41 metres south-west of its junction with Hearn Street. Caesars Road, on the south-east side, from a point 12 metres north-east to a point 104.5 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Caesars Road, on the south-east side, from a point 110.5 metres north-east to a point 186.5 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Caesars Road, on the south-east side, from a point 192 metres north-east to a point 205.5 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Caesars Road, on the south-east side, from a point 7.5 metres north-east to a point 65.5 metres north-east of its junction with Drill Hall Road. Field Place, on the north-east side, from a point

f. To introduce 'Residents Permit Holders Only N5 / No Exemption for Disabled Badge Holders' in the following lengths of road: Caesars Road, on the north-west side, from a point 13 metres north-east to a point 57 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Caesars Road, on the north-west side, from a point 152 metres north-east to a point 193 metres north-east of its junction with Wilver Road. Field Place, on the south-west side, from a point 12.5 metres south-east to a point 39 metres south-east of its junction with Trevor Road. The amendments are being proposed for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, and for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians), following proposals for the development of an adjoining property. This Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on 17 September 2021.
Any person who desires to question the validity of any of the said orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 1 of the said Act, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this order may, within six weeks of the date hereof, apply to the High Court for the purpose.

To consolidate and make permanent the provision

contained within 'The Isle of Wight Council (Residents' Parking Places) Consolidation Order No 1 2019 - Notice of Variation No 1 2020' within this order.
To re-enact the provisions contained therein

subject to the following amendments:
a. To Introduce 'Residents Permit Holders N3 or Limited Waiting 2 Hours No Return Within 2 Hours, Mon-Sat 8am-6pm/No Exemption for Disabled Badge Holders' in the following lengths of road:

Prospect Road, Newport, on the east side, from a point 13.5 metres south to a point 27.5 metres south of its junction with South Street. Prospect Road, Newport, on the east side, from a point 64.5 metres south to a point 110.5 metres south of its junction with South Street. Prospect Road, Newport, on the east side, from a point 116 metres south to a point 121 metres south of its junction with South Street. Prospect Road, Newport, on the east side, from a point 126.5 metres south to a point 140 metres south of its junction with South Street.
b. To introduce 'Residents Permit Holders Only N3 / No Exemption for Disabled Badge Holders' in the following lengths of road:

Prospect Road, Newport, on the east side, from a point 36 metres south to a point 59 metres south of its junction with South Street.
c. To Introduce 'Residents Permit Holders Only N4 or Limited Waiting 2 Hours No Return Within 2 Hours, Mon-Sat 8am-6pm/No Exemption for Disabled Badge Holders' in the following lengths of road:

Clarence Road, Newport, on the north side, from a point 13.5 metres west to a point 120.5 metres west of its junction with Medina Avenue. Clarence Road, Newport, on the north side, from a point 15 metres west to a point 19.5 metres west of its junction with York Road. Clarence Road, Newport, on the north side, from a point 25 metres west to a point 38 metres west of its junction with York Road. Clarence Road, Newport, on the north side, from a point 42 metres west to a point 82.5 metres west of its junction with York Road. Clarence Road, Newport, on the south side, from a point 16 metres west to a point 65.5 metres west of its junction with Medina Avenue. Clarence Road, Newport, on the south side, from a point 105 metres west to a point 109 metres west of its junction with Medina Avenue. Clarence Road, Newport, on the south side, from a point 117 metres west to a point 121 metres west of its junction with Medina Avenue.
