GULLY Richard "Passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022, aged 83. For the last six months he managed severe illness with courage and dignity. This was helped greatly by the professionalism, excellence, and empathy of Mountbatten Isle of Wight Hospice staff. He was much loved by his son, Ben. Service in All Saints Church, Ryde on Wednesday 10th August at 12.00 noon followed by Committal at the Crematorium. Family flowers only please, a donation if desired to the Mountbatten Hospice c/o Geoff Leather Funeral Directors, Newport

šŸ™ā¤ļø Richard was a real gentleman, he was always polite and patient when I served him in Tescos Wootton, Iā€™m sure all the staff would feel the same. I feel happy to have met Richard and that we use to have our chats early in the morning, whether discussing the weather or his allotment, he always spoke fondly about his son that lives in Canada, and I will always remember him as I Always called him Mr Canada bag, due to the bag he always brought into the store to do his shopping. May he rest in peace, god bless, it was a pleasure to have met you.
