EMILY YOUNG Martin and Marivic Young are pleased to announce that their daughter, Emily L Young, has been awarded Ph.D. Biological Oceanography from University of Hawaiat M(UHM). Dr Emily L Young, PhD, MSci, has also been granted a 1 year "Knauss Fellowship" working for the US Government at Washington, DC. Throughout her studies Emily has maintained, a GPA, (Graded Points Average), of 4.0, the maximum possible in the USA system. Emily was also promoted to Head Teaching Assistant in spring 2022. Emily attended Shalfleet CE Primary School, Trinity CE Middle School, and Carisbrooke High School/6th Form College. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the teachers in the above Schools, for the excellent education that Emily received, here on the Island.
