East Cowes Vics are in Wessex League Division 1 action tonight (Wednesday, December 6) as one of the league's strongest defences takes on one of its weakest attacks.

The Islanders come into the game following a 6-0 victory in the Beatrice Avenue fog against struggling Andover Town on Saturday (December 2).

Vics' Jacob Reynolds netted a hat-trick, while new striker Jez Conway - who signed from Cowes last week - was able to secure a brace, with Adam Voller bagging the side's sixth on 90 minutes.

The Islanders are currently in ninth and boast a strong defensive record, with the joint-third least goals conceded in the league so far, a record only bested by Division 1's first and second-placed teams.

Their opponents, Fawley AFC, find themselves in 12th, three points behind Vics - with a game in hand.

Fawley have netted the second least amount of goals so far this season, only ahead of bottom side New Milton, with 18 goals in 14 games.

In comparison, Vics have scored 34 in their 15 league matches.

Kick-off is at 7.15pm at The Eight Wealth Arena.
