An alert over potential carbon monoxide at a farm building saw fire crews head to East Cowes on Sunday afternoon.

Newport crews were called to a farm building at Norris Castle's land on New Barn Road at around 3pm yesterday.

Firefighters used gas monitoring equipment to check the carbon monoxide levels in the building.

One casualty was treated by paramedics.

The fire crews left left the scene following the stop message at 3.17pm.
