EARLY Bird tickets for next year's Isle of Wight Festival on The Price Is Wight have been completely snapped up within the space of a day.

Tickets for the 2024 festival, between June 20-23, went on sale with the website from 12 noon yesterday (Friday).

There was such a clamour for tickets — "a nice, big, healthy allocation", say The Price is Wight — purchasers were asked to be patient.

Isle of Wight County Press:

They were sold out mid-afternoon today (Saturday) — and that's despite not knowing ANY of the 2024 acts.

The company said VIP tickets would go on sale "nearer the time" and that there was an option for early bird ticket holders to upgrade their tickets to VIP then.

The Price is Wight team said:

"We have been blown away by the demand. We appreciate all your patience and backing — it means the world to us," the Island-based company said in a message to festival fans on their Facebook page.

"Our little Island-based team have worked round-the-clock to answer every phone call, email and social media message.

"You peeps are amazing! If you managed to snap up 'Earlybirds', congratulations, and if you didn't, don't worry, we hope to have the next general release back on sale very soon, so stay tuned."

Tickets can still be purchased on Ticketmaster at a higher price.
