Newport and Ventnor fire crews are attending.
FIRE crews are tackling a fire in Atherfield near Ventnor this evening (Wednesday) involving a tractor and straw.
One tractor and approximately 30 by 30 metres of straw was reported alight at around 7pm today.
Crews from Newport and Ventnor are currently at the scene, together with a water carrier from Freshwater.
One main jet is being used at present.
The incident is ongoing, but the fire is thought to be under control.
