A CAR has caught alight on Brading Downs today (Friday).
The vehicle is well alight and firefighters are currently on the scene, using a water carrier vehicle.
Crews from Ryde and Ventnor are in attendance.
Smoke can be seen around the area.
The emergency call came in at 1.10pm, according to the IW Fire and Rescue Service.
The driver is safely free of the vehicle.
