RAIL
Island Line is reporting problems this morning (Wednesday). Operator South Western Railway says a fault with a trai between Shanklin and Ryde means disruption until 3pm, with some cancellations.

ROAD
Ryde
Southern Vectis says it is expecting a closure on St John's Hill, Ryde later. It says diversions will be put in place for route 3 and 8 services LEAVING the town.
St John's Hill, Ryde will be closed at some point this evening. Routes 3 and 8 in to Ryde will divert via East Hill Rd, Esplanade, Dover Street, Park Rd, George St to Cross St then as normal. Buses from Ryde will not be affected.
